Gendern bis der Arzt kommt

Oder eigentlich sollte es irgendwie so heißen:

• Gendern bis der/die ArztIn kommt?
• Gendern bis der/die Arzt_in kommt?
• …

Bin, offen gestanden, etwas verwirrt … Was ist mit dann mit dem “A” bzw. “Ä”? Sagt/schreibt man dann auch “Frau Doktorin”?

Wenn ich einen Satz wie z.B. “Die Klasse XY wird von 25 Schülern besucht” lese, denke ich, wie wohl jeder Normalo, automatisch an Männchen und Weibchen. Warum diesen “Innen” bzw. “_innen” Schwachsinn?

Scheint wohl ein österreichischer Geistesblitz des Sommerloches zu sein? In Deutschland oder der Schweiz wäre mir dieser Gender-Unsinn nicht untergekommen.

Aber Österreich ist anders, hier schreibt man sogar, für viel Geld (Wirtschaft ankurbeln?) die Bundeshymne um.

Es gab ja, früher mal, eine Zeit, in der Männer noch richtige Männer und Frauen noch keine Männer waren …

Jetzt ist dieses Gendern auch noch in Wiener Neustadt angekommen:

Besonders “nett” ist, dass beide Formen, also das “Innen” und “_innen” verwendet werden. Da scheint wohl auch die politische Ausrichtung eine Rolle zu spielen.

Normalerweise überfliege ich den Merkur-Newsletter nur kurz. Aber in diesem Fall erinnerte ich mich, dass einer meiner Neffen diese Dinger sammelt und daher habe ich den Newsletter “gelesen”.

Wenigstens schreiben sie “Spaß” und nicht “Spass”, auch ein häufiger Fehler.

Wie auch immer, es stimmt schon: Es ist verdammt hart, der Beste zu sein! Scheiß auf PISA, es sind Sommer-Ferien!

Censorship on MSDN forum (WP7)

I asked a simple question and got some useful answers (as far I remember) but then I saw that the question is locked:

Strange, but since MS closes the Windows Marketplace for WM6.x soon I thought it is OK. But it is not OK in my view to completely remove the question (getting a 404 when trying to open it)

Having three applications installed on my machines using “icon overlays” but when there are only 11 overlays are available for all applications it is no wonder that sometimes it simply not works. I hope that Microsoft will improve it since it is a so simple and basic feature for the File Explorer.

No Samba/NAS under Vista Ultimate?

Some days ago I got my Fantec MM-FHDL Multimedia Player. It offers NAS and FTP support. Beside the playable video/audio formats NAS support was one of the reasons why I bought that device.

Of course it works fine under Windows XP Professional SP3:

But having troubles under Vista. Depending how I try to open the IP address I am getting different results.

Via Vista Start Menu (0x80070035: “The network path was not found.”):

Btw: As long the above dialog is open, you can’t use the Start Menu ^^. This dialog disables the Start Menu! This isn’t very smart in my view. So it was a bit difficult to start Paint.NET in order to get the screen-shot. But this is another story.

But when using Vista’s File Explorer (0x80004005: “Unspecified error.”):

I assume that Samba/NAS is still supported by Fista (aka Vista)!?

Via FTP (using FileZilla) I am able to access the device under Vista:

But FTP is only a workaround for this nasty Fista problem. I’d just like to use File Explorer!

Ideas how to solve the Fista / NAS / Samba problem are welcome! Btw, a Virtual PC using XP on my Fista machine is no option ;-)

IE9 (aka IE NEIN?)

If the domain is available Indeed it seems to load and render faster than IE7/8

Closing IE9 with multiple tabs open: Will not restore the tabs at next start like FF does …

Anyway, I’ll keep IE9 installed and hope that it will offer the Features which I used to have in the future (meanwhile I continue using Chrome and Firefox).

PS: You may need to reboot your machine after installing IE9

PPS: IE9 launches much faster then IE7, IE8 and even Chrome and Firefox!
